United Thank Offering (UTO) is a ministry of the Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through United Thank Offering, men, women and children nurture the habit of giving daily thanks to God. These prayers of thanksgiving start when we recognize and name our many daily blessings. Those who participate in UTO discover that thankfulness leads to generosity. United Thank Offering is entrusted to promote thank offerings, to receive the offerings, and to distribute the UTO monies to support mission and ministry throughout the Episcopal Church and in invited Provinces of the Anglican Communion in the developing world.
Congregations of the Diocese of Fond du Lac are invited to hold both a Spring and Fall In-Gathering for the United Thank Offering.
- The Spring Ingathering can be the Sunday following Ascension.
May 19th, 2013 has been designated for local congregations of the Diocese.
- The Fall Ingathering can be the Sunday closest to All Saints Day.
November 3rd, 2013 has been designated for local congregations of the Diocese.
Congregations are encouraged to participate in the Diocesan Ingathering at the Eucharistic Festival.
Ingatherings are sent to the UTO Diocesan Coordinator, not the Diocesan Office,
who records the amount received from each congregation and forwards it to the UTO National Office. Please send your In-Gathering receipts to
UTO Ingathering c/o Carol Gottard 312 Dorr St Antigo, WI 54409-1335
All UTO questions should be directed to Carol.
